Grinder - Poem

Me, a simple but wild creature.

Him, a grinder looking for meat.

Night, a time to stalk and hunt.

Darkness, he finds me there alone,

But the grinder doesn’t know he too, is prey.

For I am not meat to be ravaged,

I am the beast in the dark.

The confusion of the table’s turn

Buys me opportunity.

He isn’t the only one with an insatiable hunger,

But mine is not like his;

My appetite is for revenge.

There will certainly be regrets,

But they won’t be mine.
